Something incredible...
I arrived at Warsaw School of Economics for the first time in winter
semester 2004 as Erasmus student. Now I am writing my Master's Thesis here. The friendly atmosphere I find in the School is something incredible. I can assure the professors are really well prepared and also helpful to foreigners. Poland and its market are very attractive for foreign investments and a Master's Degree from the best business school in the country will make the difference for everybody. Poland is a fascinating country that serves as the geographical and cultural crossroads of Eastern and Western Europe. Located at the center of the Northern European plain, Poland has been a nation of survivors since the foundation of the first Polish state more than 1,000 years ago. Through its turbulent history its people have managed to maintain their identity, and today, the country enjoys a crucial position as the largest of the former Eastern European states and the most populous new member of the European Union.
Warsaw is a city of dynamic development and excellent prospects. The Polish capital is a truly European city, the pride of Polish people and a popular destination for foreigners. Many visitors extend their stay, discovering new opportunities in the city. Today the Warsaw metropolitan area is home to 3 million residents, 1,69 million of whom live in Warsaw itself. Warsaw is the centre of Poland's political, economic, and cultural life. The city's location in the centre of Europe makes it an important communication and transportation hub.
